| Misty In Roots are truly like no other band I've ever heard. Their seriousness and determination is evident the very first time you hear their music. Besides playing some of the best reggae I've ever heard, Misty In Roots have a strong, important message for all of mankind.
Their words and music give me strength and instill in me a sense of pride and a desire to live an honest, righteous life. Even in the short time I've known them, Misty In Roots have already made a great positive impact on me, and I believe they can do the same for anyone else who is strong enough to open their ears, minds, and hearts to these true Reggae Warriors...

In the middle to late seventies in the UK, it was said that there were over 300 reggae bands in the UK. One of the finest of them was Misty In Roots. They carrried the message of roots reggae to the people who attended Rock Against Racism shows, and Anti Nazi League concerts. For a lot of these people it was the first time they had ever heard Roots Reggae outside of Bob Marley. That was very important. The other important thing, was that MIR and its label was a co-op. Releasing classic punk tunes by bands like the Ruts. But when that turbulant era ended, Misty In Roots was still there, as they are today. Standing firm, still chanting down babylon in fine style.
